The Not Ashamed campaign involves Christians being visible and vocal about the positive vision for our society that Jesus Christ provides.
Given this, we are encouraging Christians to WEAR THE SYMBOL, DECLARE THE HOPE and SHARE THE VISION.
To help make a visible impact, we have produced a range of items bearing the Not Ashamed logo. We hope that the disctinctive design combining the ancient symbol of the cross with a speech bubble will highlight continuity with Christian witness in our nation over many hundreds of years whilst also prompting new interest amongst those who see it. The inclusion of the speech bubble is also a reminder of the need to speak of Jesus Christ and His cross.
You can view the items available - suitable for formal and informal settings - here.
We hope that the campaign will provide many opportunities to explain why Jesus Christ is good news for individuals and society. At the national level, we are urging Christians to sign the Declaration of Christian Hope for our Nation which we will bring to the attention of leaders in public life as we seek to speak with them about the future of our society. Churches and individual Christians may also wish to contact local leaders about it.
At the local and individual level, we hope that a leaflet written by Lord Carey, former Archbishop of Canterbury, specially for the Not Ashamed campaign will be used by churches and Christians to help those who live in their local area to consider why Jesus Christ is good news for individuals and society.
We're urging Christians to spread the word about the campaign so that as many as possible can unite behind it. You can find ideas and resources to help you here.
